Nick grew up in Whispering Pines, NC. He received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Appalachian State and graduated from East Tennessee State University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014. In 2020, Nick earned his distinction as a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. Additionally, he is a Level 1 Credentialed Clinical Instructor and a Certified Functional Movement Systems Level 1.
Nick’s love for PT came from seeing his sister’s rehabilitation process after an auto accident. Nick loves all things orthopaedic but really enjoys treating hands, shoulders/ shoulder blades, and scoliosis.
He enjoys exercise, cooking, Duke Basketball, App State Football games, Steelers Football, spending time with his family and anything with his dogs, Strummer and Gilly. Nick is a music junkie with a wide array of musical interests.
FUN FACT: Nick’s parents taught him to water ski before teaching him to ride a bike.
